Oh, there are SO many things that I would tell me.

Stay in longer
Don't get married
Think things through
Travel more, worry less
Save more, drink less
Remember where you come from and who you represent.
It's not brain surgery or rocket science, but people's lives do depend on the job you do.
Follow through
That second guy, don't marry him either

Always trust your intuition or gut instinct. That's your guidance from wherever you believe it come. How many times have you had a feeling that you shouldn't do something but did it anyway. Bet you were sorry!

I enjoyed my service in the ranks, but now I would go for the Officer Corp. That's what I should have done the first time, instead of listening to all the propaganda!

Get RK surgery before I take that physical, you know, the one where I found out my vision precluded me from BUDs.

Take the AGR overseas assignment and stay in long enough to retire.

I would take advantage of schools (Airborne and SFAS and the Q-Course) early in my career. I would go to units earlier in my career to meet my mentors earlier in my career, to be able to spend more time learning with them.
