I'd give myself the same advice my first NOCIC gave me... "For the first two years, keep your mouth shut and your eyes and ears open"!

Get the most of out the Army (schools, education, medical, benefits) because the Army is going to get theirs out of you.

I would tell myself to embrace the education I was getting and the experience. Stay in as long as you can. See all you can see. Focus on you and your dreams and don't let anything get in the way.

To be patient! Not get married so soon! Start college as soon as possible!!

When offered the chance to go to West Point in Basic TAKE IT.

I would do it again!
