Remember to live today for what it is and to enjoy the friends and family you are around.
Tomorrow may bring changes you don’t expect or want but that’s life.live love and learn for you are also the teacher.

Going back in time, I’d say go ahead and take the opportunity to pick up the military police as your secondary MOS.

Save money, dont let my sex drive overpower my conscience, take it easy on the beers, and dont treat my body like a smash derby car

Mom was right, "birds of a feather flock together." Chose your mentor and your friends carefully. Not everyone has your best interest at heart. Connect with ethical, moral, fun, intelligent, and hard-working people who prioritize God, family, and country.

Get addresses and keep in touch with your friends.

After 4 strokes, my memory stinks and friends have helped me get some memories back, plus there are those I cannot find, that I wish I knew how to.

Starting from day one I would have better served myself by being more organized and efficient. I did not establish clear goals for my military service and beyond nor take the time to do so until much later. Organization would have helped tremendously.

Take advantage of going to college while in the service. Graduate and take a direct commision as was counseled to me then. Instead I did the young and dum soldier thing and chased skirts. I have a degree now. Just wished I completed it on Active duty and then started my civilian career.
