Don't lend money to a Drill SGT in basic, because as you learned you will never be repaid.

Pick a different job and stay in at least 20 years. Don't get married so soon (I don't regret getting married and having two great children), wait a couple years. Don't drink so much and just be aware of all the experiences and opportunities. Take advantage of the educational opportunities and see the world. Oh yea, buy Microsoft, Bitcoin and Coca Cola.

If I could go back, given my degrees I should have join the Army only because their language and Foreign Area officer is actually a real career field.
