Don't believe that dumb recruiter!! But come into the military because you wanted to, not on what that lying recruiter said.

Not too far from home. The explorer in me came out I wanted to see and do everything I could.

GySgt Edward Reagle - the explorer in me didn't truly appear until after my divorce. My ex was such a couch potato!! He didn't want to go anywhere!!

Look at the favor your ex did for you he brought you out in the open to go see whatever... your little heart desired!Too bad there is a lot to see in this home planet. As I exit my 60s next July I would still like to explore maybe on a more tame plane level. An airplane ride and a Disney cruse is okay with me. Still plenty to see on beaches, etc...

Keep an open mind, find enjoyment wherever you are and do not do anything you will regret later in life.

Do not accept the early ETS to allow your knee to heal and then just "re-enlist" as they say .... it will take you forever to get waiver approved to get back in! LOL

DON'T be a smartass and just go to basic training with your eyes and ears open
