Considering that I am now 72 If I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself!! (Mickey Mantle).
But if the shoe fits!!

I had dated a girl that I met during the welcome ceremony at Howard AFB in Panama and lost track of her while in Vietnam. I just found her through both "Together We Serve" and "Facebook" and found out she stayed in for 36 years. Always follow your dreams because I wanted to marry her and didn't. My advice is that sometimes our duties interfere with a dream, don't let it but at the same time work it out.

I would tell me to get in writing that after Basic and AIT you will go directly to jump school and your first duty station will be in an Airborne in Italy. So I can meet a woman like my recruiters wife. An incredibly beautiful, smart, and feisty woman. My recruiter was a very smart man to have her show up to one of our meetings.
That's my shallow advice...

Get everything in writing and in triplicate.

Keep your mouth shut, smart-a$$.

Don't screw up the future.

Get a pre-nup.

I would have chosen a career field besides 0331
