DO FULL 30 YEAR CAREER IN USAF. FIRST WIFE DEMANDED i QUIT OR DIVORCE HER SO SHE COULD BE CLOSE TO THE WOMEN SHE WAS INTIMATE WITH SINCE COLLEGE. 3 KIDS I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THEM WITH HER AND HER PAL AND I WAS BELOW THE ZONE FOR MAJOR AND ON A FAST TRACK I SCREWED MYSELF. HER PARTNER WAS A TEACHER AND COMPETENT WITH 2 KIDS SAME AGE. KNOWING THEY WERE BEING WATCHED VERY CLOSELY, I THINK MY KIDS WOULD HAVE BEEN ACTUALLY MORE STABLE. (I ENDED UP MOVING 5 TIMES BECAUSE NO ONE WANTED A GP IN THE CIVILIAN WORLD AND DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE MY SERVICE TRAINING. OH WELL. KIDS ARE FINE.

Was offered OCS. It required however, an additional years enlistment. That's an eternity at 21 so I declined. Seems worthwhile at 76. Even so, I was proud to serve as a Navy Corpsman with the FMF. Semper Fi!

My advice would be several things. First off would be to stay in the military for 20, secondly, don't marry that girl. Thirdly would be invest more $$ while you are young.

SPC Matt Ovaska
i put down the wrong answers for medical questions on the ASVAB. I did not want to be a medic. I remember a medic who was crawling out side at 2AM and calling out his friend's name who died in combat. So sad.

Work harder to get promoted more. This working harder could involve many different things but whatever is necessary is a must!

Don't drink so much, study for rank harder and explore the local communities at every duty station.
