I stayed in the Navy for 23 years! I greatly enjoyed my career in the Navy and enjoyed it very much. Saw a lot of this world, I had a lot of fun, I would tell myself "don't screw up a good career" Stay the course is a term I used on the bridge as an OOD all the time, and I would tell my self the same thing if given the chance.

I would had never left Okinawa until my EAS was up.Spent 3.3 yrs on an unaccompanied tour there as the Command Staff was just outstanding.I was worried my Col. would have talked me into reenlisting and I wanted to start a new career.Was blessed with an Strong father figure of a Gunny watching over me. When asked to reenlist for a 6 year term do it. And dump that girlfriend who convinced me to not re up. She is all wrong for you.

Ranking CW4 (in the Army) asked me to apply for warrant officer, I declined. Looking back, how stupid I was. I retired as a SFC.
