Start planning for civilian life.

Do what you’re asked even if it doesn’t make sense, save yourself the stress of over-analyzing!

I would tell myself to save and invest my money. To take better care of my body, and to keep my mouth shut and ears opened. To go to college and get that degree.

Don't trust what the recruiter says (he is just a used car salesman trying to fill his quota). Stand your ground on what job you want to do, even if that means joining a different service branch.

I would have worked harder earlier in my career.
