Well Chile just opened up but not really, you still need to jump through a bunch of hoops to leave Chile or enter and you still have to wear mask. This country sucks, can't wait until I have enough money that I can escape.

Love fishing on the south fork of the Boise River.

Lord, I haven't been fishing in nearly 60 years. My Dad used to take me fishing on the Galveston piers. We lived in Houston, so it was a fair drive. The best part was always breakfast at the Waffle House. Then he'd buy a package of shrimp bait, and we'd stand on the pier wondering what was nibbling on the bait.

Then, one day, he asked me if I actually enjoyed fishing. It sounded like an honest question, so I said no, I didn't really enjoy it. He allowed as how he didn't either, and neither of us liked getting up at the ungodly hour necessary to be on the pier at sunrise, so we dumped the remaining bait into the bay and went home. That was the last time either of us ever went fishing.

Loving near the largest man-made lake in the South gives e so many places to drop a line it's almost not even a sport anymore BWAHAHAHAHA...but what I love most is going on post with the grandbabies and watching them fish in the kids only stocked pond. The sheer excitement in their eyes with each catch is worth dealing with the heat

I love this topic, informative and educational. I was born, and raised in Winchester Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley, with a multitude of lakes, ponds, and the Shenandoah river to fish, which I begin at age 6 using a Zebco 101 closed bail, with my dad (retired, Korean combat veteran, 82nd airborne), and my many family members. It's been years, but I may have to break out Mitchell 900 open bails, and rods and get back to enjoying fishing. Thank you for the memories.
