As the subject states, I'm looking to submit a Warrant Officer packet for 255A. I already meet most of the requirements (minus Security+ which I'll be taking this week). Anyway, I have a question that I'm looking for a more in depth answer to that I can't seem to get from the USAREC website.

NCOER time. I know that the requirements state 36 months of rated time, but I was wondering if they were accepting waivers at this time. I have heard that there is a shortage of Warrants, especially in the Signal community. With Signal WOs being so under strength at this time, is this something they would take under consideration?

I appreciate any guidance I may get and want to thank you for your time.

Respectfully,
SGT Anderson

I am giving a lot of thought to attempting a Warrant Officer Packet. Being an 11C (Mortarman) my choices are limited. So, like most in my position I have chosen 153A Rotary Wing Pilot. I love my profession but being that I enlisted late in life (31 to be exact) I am looking forward as to what will benefit me more when I decide to ETS and what is something I would really enjoy doing. Any guidance, experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.
