I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my CAC reader to work on my Mac. I've been following the militarycac website's instructions to the best of my ability without any success. Is there anyone in the Sacramento area that wouldn't mind helping me get this to work if I kicked a reasonable amount of cash your way? It looks like my computer recognizes the card reader (one that the website said is compatible), I tried installing the certs and I'm not sure if that worked, and I installed a middleware, but I still can't log into any mil website using my CAC.

Here's the thing, anyone who helps you with this is just going to follow all the steps in order on militarycac.com, because they do work.
Try starting over from scratch, because if its not working, you missed a step on there.
Otherwise, the J6 Help Desk at JFHQ opens at 0700, M-F. They are not authorized to work on personal laptops in there, but they can give you pointers, or you can ask one of them to work on your laptop over lunch or after 1600 if you offer to buy them lunch or pay them.
