Made a small batch of Apricot wine. Anyone making anything like that out there?

It wasn't hard. Bit was only a one gallon batch though. I want to get the equipment to do a five gallon batch (roughly 24 bottles of wine) and make a larger batch next round. I will be making plum wine next. Eventually once more firmly situated in a solid job I'm going to get the home brewing set up and start brewing my own beer and will get a larger winemaking setup. I got this through a local yard sale when I was starting to want to get back into winemaking and home brewing.
It's time consuming but very rewarding if you're patient. I like the science behind it and - well - the payoff to drink down something good you made from the raw ingredients is amazing...

SCPO Charles Thomas "Tom" Canterbury - One of my college buddies (her name is Sarah) makes her own brew and wine. She makes this blackberry wine that is simply to die for. I'm not big on small-batch hops products (it's really hard to get it right, in my experience!), but man. That girl could make some wine.
Yours looks as good. It's a good hobby. Takes time, investment, commitment. And it can make you a lotta friends! :)

SN Greg Wright - I know, right?! I posted these pics and otherwise boring post and all kinds of people started voting me up and responding. Can't wait to see what happens when I get my beer making capabilities. Maybe I should get a business license and do it full time... If I was in a different position I would definitely bring a local brewing operation to life. I want my first signature batch to be a smoked porter. I've even got a label design made up:

I made a batch of dandelion wine once. Vile stuff. I wouldn't put it in a cigarette lighter. However my son has had better luck with ale. His first batch was surprisingly good.
