Intelligence Analysts should have a field-day with this one. RP is one huge "think-tank", and places like e.g. Brookings Institute are taking free notes. If "Schaffer" is a member of RP let's get his input.

I kept many of these for the appropriate time.

I guess the Taliban did own that particular night. My question: Why was SSG Jeff Schaffer not reading the map right along with the Afghan police sergeant?

A Sappers job is not unlike a Detectives. 2009, insider attacks and attacks on schools increased exponentially. Amazing what simple redaction reveals and "who" is responsible for placing our people in almost certain, unwarranted jeopardy.

Media Rights end when they provide precise informative instructions to an enemy. Right in front of your eyes the entire time and many are better at it than I -

Forgive the slang, spit happens, from now on old saying it takes two to tango, never leave home without going bathroom first, never trust a hand you don't eat with, cheese comes from a cows tit and true intelligence comes out of a horses business end. That last one was just read! Learn from your mistakes "quickly" preferably on your feet! Hustle up, soldier- move with a purpose!!
