What is life like as a medic in the 69th ADA at Fort Hood? What advice would you give to someone being assigned there?

Is anybody or has anybody been a medic in 69th ADA? I'm projected to go there in November. Just looking for some insight.

It really depends on where you are coming from. For instance what are you currently doing such as line medic, clinic medic, BSB. More than likely going to be a bit different than what you are use to though. All medic tasking/duty stations have positives and negatives. With that said Fort Hood as a base isn’t bad. I have been here for a little over a year and have enjoyed it so far

ADA is a bit different than being on the line. A little more relaxed environment, but largely depends on the leaders and climate in the unit

You've asked a yes/no question. What kind of insight do you want? Focused answers get focused questions.

CPL (Join to see) - Okay. I'll adjust the title for you. Hopefully that will draw in more people.
