A very long time ago, I met Chuck Conners (The Rifleman) at an Airport. He actually came up to me and shook my hand and thanked me for my service. I'm 6' 4" and had to crank my head back to look him in the eyes. The dude was HUGE!

I met singer Tennessee Ernie Ford when I was a patient at Letterman Gen. Hospital in 1969. A group of us were given a trip to South Lake Tahoe where he was performing. I am the one to the far left. I also met singer Bobbie Gentry (Ode to Billy Joe), singer Johnny Mathis, comedian/actor Jan Murray and Johnny Grant (Honorary Mayor of Hollywood).
