why is this reposted? First off - what crimes? that he misremembered a meeting that was politicized by democrats into an assault on a Trump ally? That the FBI was weaponized by the democrats in order to push a false narrative of russian collusion?? And no, He should not be in jail, nor was the "crime" committed while he was an active duty Soldier, so he keeps his retirement.

SFC (Join to see) - Again, the whole trial was a political axe job. The interviewing agents recommendation was ignored to push the false narrative of Russian collusion - are you aware that the meeting in question, was Directed by the Obama administration? Second, none of this happened while he was an active duty member of the Armed Services, He forgot he had the meeting, simple as that, and it was turned into a political shit storm because the Democrats were sore losers. Do you remember every person you had a meeting with? You, SFC, are a sheep, incapable of spouting anything but the liberal talking points spewed by the liberal media, and ignorant democrat politicians.

SFC (Join to see) - I voted for a dead Gorilla in 2016 and Tulsi Gabbard as a write in for the 2020 election - you would have known I did not vote for him at all if you fully read my reply to you in another reply to you within this Post. I am not Christian, I did not vote for him either time, and the truth came out 3 years ago regarding what actually happened and how the trial was a political hit on Gen Flynn. There was another thread, far more in depth, about this. another one was not needed.

Here is an Atlantic magazine article about the former general. Flynn was a great staff officer, but struggled as director of DIA. He allegedly became fixated with the alt-right and demanded that the agency twist evidence to meet conspiracy theories instead of develop theories based on facts.
Opinion: Trump already pardoned him and punishing for previous crimes would be unconstitutional. He should be forced to testify about his former activities during administration and on January 6th since accepting a pardon theoretically waives 5th Amendment rights.

What Happened to Michael Flynn?
In military intelligence, he was renowned for his skill connecting the dots and finding terrorists. But somewhere along the way, his dot detector began spinning out of control.

General Flynn did nothing wrong. He was a political target and was performing is duties when speaking to a foreign official. He was accused of something he didn't do and as the questions were more designed as accusations, he wasn't hiding anything and didn't intentionally lie. He denied an accusation which was manipulated politically into charges as our alphabet agencies no longer serve the public but are weapons against the citizenship....
