Military Bearing and Discipline or lack thereof?

Is it me or does there seem to be a lack of military discipline and bearing in today's younger generation? I get the impression that a lot of young Soldiers look at the Military as a democracy opened to discussion when they don't agree with their leadership. Rarely do I see lower enlisted standing at parade rest for NCOs as did my generation. What are your thoughts?

Do new generation of soldiers to lack respect and discipline?

Many NCO's find the new generation of soldiers to lack respect and discipline.
What is your opinion on this subject? Is it natural to think this or is this newest generation different?
