I am currently at Fort Stewart, GA, for some training. Shout out to those Dog Faced Soldiers! But I have been to many bases and I have never heard so many bugle calls in my life, this also includes the playing of the 3rd ID song every morning. I swear I have seen people just sprint off when they hear a call because they don't know what to do. So far I have found that this post does 13 bugle calls. Fort Bragg got nothing on this place.

Naples, Italy as an Air Force member. Stationed there from 1988-1991, congressional delegation toured every overseas military location and deemed Naples as the worst location. I know they have built new facilities at the Capodicino airport but the NATO facilities are still there.

LIK; 39 SPF: OCT 84, DEC 86. YUP; 27 MOS. Escaped SAC , most of unit was from SAC. Highlight of time there: April 86, the Libya strike. We stayed ready for war all year. It got better after i left, all of the new stuff was built. It was semi-primitive when i was there.

Ft. Hood has all of those plus a few more for feeding the horses or some nonsense.

Fort Hunter Ligget. Was there in 2008, during a blazing wildfire a few miles away that rained ash. It was insanely hot, thrre was a water shortage, and there wasn't much to do.

Fort Riley is the second worst place I've been to...they say that Fort Riley is the place where careers come to die and I found out it was true. MEBs left and right for dumb stuff. However Aberdeen Proving Grounds had to be the worst place I was ever stationed out of the 5 duty stations I've been to. Its a US Army installation but it caters to civilians rather than soldiers.

Fort Riley Sucks Monkey Balls. 23 years in the Army and I have never seen a place so crappy and proud of it.

I was only at GITMO nine months before being transferred to Vietnam. So I guess it depends on where you came from and where you're going...................

Norfolk wasn't bad at all. At least it wasn't in the late 90's. Only bad part was early morning traffic on Hampton Blvd.

Upon further reflection, the submarine barracks was across street from helo squadron somethingoranother. Getting the pleasure of listening to helos take off, hover for some time, land, repeat all night for training did get on my nerves lol.

Spent three years sleeping underneath #3 catapult water brake on a CVN. Stopped hearing everything after about two weeks of that, including a General Quarters when a KA-6 tanker exploded 10 feet up and 60 feet to starboard.
