I'm considering getting a dynamic mic for vlogging because of increased durability, but I want good options that rival the Shure SM-57/58.

The Electrovoice RE20 is the industry standard for radio. That's a dynamic cardioid mic. For the past 3 years, I've been a fan of the Shure SM7.

Is there a reason not to consider a condenser? So much more you can do with the sound in post production.
