My husband is a 88M and I’m a 89B. Pros and Cons of y’all’s personal experience. As a base in general what would y’all overall rate it. I know every base is different and has different standards.

I agree with everyone else. Stewart is mediocre at best. Savannah is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. I can't comment on the beaches because the one beach that's there is overly packed in any sunny weekend. But I know a lot of people who love it. Also, Hinesville is where People of Walmart originated, so be ready for that.

SGT Randal Groover no, and that's probably one reason I didn't love it.

SGT Randal Groover - If all a place has is hunting and fishing...it's not that good of a spot, even if a person is into both of those. On a good note, when I was there in 2012, once a month they opened the MPRC to hobby shooting (instead of the MWR 100m range) and allowed you to use your personal firearms out to 1000m. Pretty sweet.

The post is okay, but the surrounding areas makes being stationed there worthwhile. Your quality time off work will give you a different experience. Everyone's experience is different
