My reserves contract has a bonus to it but I've not gone to retrain to MOSQ. It has now been 2 years. Am I still entitled to my bonus?

In 2014 I signed my reserve contract. It took effect Jan 5 2015. It's been 2 years and my unit has yet to send me to MOSQ and now that it has been 2 years I've been told I am no longer entitled to my bonus. So does this mean my contract is voided or am I just screwed out of 10K?
I've been told both.

You may have to request an exception to policy to have the bonus paid, but it is still possible to be paid the bonus if it was thru no fault of your own that you did not attend the MOS school. The main issues is that you are still not MOS Q......payment cannot be requested until you complete the course, have you been scheduled for the coursre?

Usually bonus payment in a Reserve contract is tied to DMOSQ. Was there a reason why you did not go to training to date? For example, if you were flagged for something, that is on you. If the unit didn't send you to school in a timely manner, it is time to raise some Cain.
You'll need an ETP if you've gone over two years, and you will want that in hand before you do anything else. Where your commander stands on this will inform your next move.

It all depends as to why you haven't attended. If it is due to not having valid school quotas then through no fault of your own you haven't been able to attend. But if there were seats available and you just did not attend then your bonus is void. Couple of questions for you. Is this your first contract? Are you coming from Active Duty or National Guard? Have you submitted ATTRS applications to attend the course?

I've spoken to my reserve counselor. It was at no fault of mine. The unit never slotted me for a class even after multiple multiple attempts on my end.
