CWO3 (Join to see) when the correct answers post and if my yard flag is wrong, I am off to Lowe's for an additional extension pole.

Nobody enforces. Lights are required at night etc. It's mutually understood by Americans when they see a flag displayed with even minimal etiquette that it is a display of unity with all other Americans, unless it's a Homeowner's Asooc. or similar. There are some that display from a carved rail in the country. I used an old antenna tower. We're off the main line though, or I wouldn't. Reminds me that it's time to swap out flag.

CWO3 (Join to see) I certainly do try to keep fresh flags flying and working solar LEDs.

That's how I remember it +/-. Flag itself is fascinating, with what ratios of the dimensions and other things mean about it. the final salute rounds in folded flag etc.

Storm, Post, and Garrison was the Army promotion board or Guard mount answer but there are others such as the funeral flag. 60 ft pole for Garrison flag.
