Hey everyone, just wondering what I should do about this. When I enlisted, my recruiter said he submitted my loans and my dad's parent plus loans for my degree successfully after speaking to someone higher up. On my bonus addendum document in iperms, it does show this amount: "9 loans totaling $67k" would be used with the $50k SLRP. This would be the amount of my loans and the parent plus loans for my degree. After submitting my NSLDS documents for the repayment process, the incentive manager emailed me saying "the parent plus loans I initially signed up for are not qualified for repayment."
I would've chosen an MOS more related to my civilian career had I known the actual payout (even after taxes where the 50k turns into about 35k) would be $8,000 lower than the contract says. Is there anything I can do about this? It seems really wrong and $8,000 is a pretty big deal to me, especially when I'm hoping to buy a house really soon- any debt repaid is worth it. Thanks in advance for any advice

There's nothing you can do about making SLRP pay for a Parent Plus loan.
Federal Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) that are in the name of anyone other than the Soldier applying for the SLRP program are not eligible for repayment.

Parent PLUS loans are eligible for Student Loan Debt Relief:
