My preference is either .40 or .45. That's what I own. What ever the Army decides to use I'll train with it and become as proficient with it as I can.

Proficiency is key. A "hit" with a .22 is better than a "miss" with a .50 Desert Eagle!

+1 for .40 cal, my round of choice. More rounds than a 45, won't ricochet off 2x4 studs.

I would take a 45 any day, more power behind it. It has more recoil but that is what you get when it comes to weapon strength!
