So what do you think of the decision not to go forward? I personally believe it was the right decision and am saddened for the residents that have to endure what is to come.

I strongly feel they jury made the right call. Most of the evidence against Wilson came from the Brown family-hired coroner. No bias there I'm sure. The decisive evidence in his favor was the blood spatter inside the vehicle and the finger. So I 100% feel Wilson acted well within legal bounds and was justified in the shooting.

I believe that the jurors heard from all the witnesses and saw all the evidence made the right decision. Everyone that was not in the courtroom does not know all angles of this case as tragic as it was.

Personally I think that considering some of the testimony, the credibility issues with some of the witnesses, and the autopsy results, I think it was the right decision. As to the blatant race baiting and interference by Eric Holder and Al Sharpton, I think those things are despicable. As to the rioting in the streets, as well as the general lawlessness that seems to be pervading across the country as revenge killings and beatings happen all across the country, stop turning a blind eye to it. It would seem that suddenly it is okay to pull this kind of crap because you think life is unfair. I personally think that they should stop being politically correct and send a clear message that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. You want to riot, go ahead, but when you commit acts of violence and loot people's businesses, don't you dare cry foul when they have to scrape what's left of you off the pavement. Start acting like civilized human beings, and stop acting like ignorant animals.

IMO it's difficult to offer an opinion without ALL of the facts. I can only tell you I would NOT want to be empaneled in the Grand Jury to make this decision. No matter what decision is made they will be deemed wrong in their actions.

At least with a Grand Jury there are other people to help form a consensus. I was an Article 32 Investigating Officer once. Essentially a grand jury and judge rolled into one. That was not fun....

The jury heard all evidence so I'll stand with their decision. As for the local community's response to their decision, nothing says (false) racial prejudice than burning down all of the local business and inciting violence. It's really shameful that anytime an incident occurs and the people involved just happened by chance to be of different races, it's automatically racism.

Based on the evidence presented the Officer acted appropriately in the situation he was in. There are many of us on here that have been in similar situations while deployed and would have acted in a similar manner. That being said I think it is a a shame that violence and looting seems to be standard practice these days when people don't agree with an outcome regardless of the evidence. The sad part is that most of the people conducting the atrocities are probably not even from there and apparently out of work if they have time to steal and clash with authorities. Additionally it is disaapointing that the MO Governor told the National Guard to Stand-Down prior to the indictment information being released. On top of that the city Mayor tried numerous times to contact the Governor for assistance but no one would accept his calls. A lot of this could have been prevented just by opening lines of communication between local and state officials. What disappointment on all levels.

I have faith in our system and know that the Grand Jury receives much more information than the general public. My opinion is that the decisions they render are probably correct.

People have problems with authority, don't want to be told what to do, don't listen if a cop is giving directions.....they are asking for trouble. That being said, there is "no" reason th kill an unarmed man (too many other options) and it should not have taken (6) six cops to take the guy in New York down....

After objectively looking at this 14 min video, there is nothing that this man did to deserve to die and that specific officer has not once or twice been involved in questionable behavior. No matter how you look at it, the officers went overboard on something that could have been a fine not someone losing their life. What if this was your Father, Brother or Son, whould it be okay. At what point do we hold the over zealous Police officers accountable, I will always be a soldier but this is just wrong.

SGT Dequental I agree completly but I think "over zealous" is being too nice, lol....I seen the video and 6 cops was just to many in this case. When the little guy jumped on his back and applied the death grip, all I could do was shake my head
