A waste. And this is why: Such an App would be immediately used for automated mass mailing campaigns to congressional offices. Any messages from such a service would be seen as "astroturfing" and discounted out of hand, unless it agreed with the congressperson's existing view.

Given the fact that what most constituents have to say and what they believe has "almost no effect" on what a Congressperson does I'm going to say it would be a waste

No question, just an App that lets people tell congress their point of view

Not needed at all. There are several ways to reach elected officials already to include email, snail mail, official website, twitter, capitol switchboard, and the most important of all... the Ballot Box!!!

I agree with the ballot box, unfortunately, many voters do not inform themselves before casting.

I'd be all for it...some if the congressmen websites aren't exactly user friendly. I'd support having an app that just lets me contact who I want to contact without hunting for the correct contact info.

Good point. Specially, since staffers just pay lip service to constituents without really making a big difference.

Good idea... But will they look at it or will some staffer look at it and not pass it on. That is the question. It seems what we say as their bosses does not matter to them. Only those that have the loud voices. So if you tell them no on some issue, someone else will say yes because of a louder voice. Like the environmentalists. Of course we know which party listens to them over their constituents.
