Are you just prepping yourself for FY16s board or are you looking more in the future? Are you going out and searching for those additional duties to perform or just ERB stacking? Did you just have someone in the CMF check your records or did you reach out to other CMFs for review? How are you working your duty position to gain more responsibility?

This year was my first look with 9 years TIS and 3 years TIG. I have held and rated at two 40 level positions once as an E5 and once as a SSG with them totaling over two years. I served at the Battery, Brigade and Division levels. I have two Iraq and one Afghanistan deployment under my belt. Completed WLC, ALC, Rappel Master, Air Assault, Unit Victim Advocate, and multiple Air defense training course over the past four years. Halfway to an associates degree. Zero UCMJ or disciplinary issues. Board file was built and reviewed by multiple Senior leaders. And I still did not make it. As of now, I plan on requesting Recruiting duty so I will have some kind of force generation assignment. Hopefully next year works out better, but as Joe Dirt says, "Gotta keep on keepin on!"
