I hope this makes it to the people that can make a difference. Attrition and stagnancy. Yes there are a crap load of individuals that are hiding out, also know as nursing homes. I find it sick to see the morning pt formations are cut into a 1/3's that are capable of doing the standard physical fitness regimens. yes i say a 1/3rd. Dropping Retention control points, will truly ensure that you will have a out for themselves Army. No assistance will be given to the subordinates to ensure that their pathways are as successful as everyone else. Controlling talent and assignments. How is it that individuals are stuck i mean stuck in a unit for over 1/2 of their careers, I have seen more than one occasion that a soldier has been promoted from e-1 to e-7 in the same unit while being in the unit for up to 12 years. NON Deploy-able soldiers, fix yourselves and ensure that we have the proper care that is needed. We have to be seen 3 to 4 times per incident to get anything accomplished. Medical now is a number game from the past of addressing the real problem. These are all valid points, but we do seem to forget the promotion capability of Low Density mos leaders. Proponents still do not address this problem and how to fix the overall situation. Certain MOS's that are in the Trade and Maintenance occupations are stuck at certain levels, with no chance of outside jobs. MCS, SPO, Staff Positions, Battle Staff to name a few.

Yes I think there will be always exceptions to the rule, but from personal experience by and large most work hard to do their best and serve their country!
