There is a video series out there named "Black Mirror" which covers the same subjects as "On Killing: The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society" and "On Combat: The Psychology and Physiology of Deadly Conflict in War and in Peace". The first is required reading for the FBI.
The British science fiction anthology television series "Black Mirror", examines modern societies and the unanticipated consequences of new technologies. Some reminded me of incidents I have seen in real life - such as the Taliban's recent acquisition of gear such as NVG's, Drones, and Prophet Communications.
As for video games - Military posts world-wide use them to train. Do they make a 'stone cold’ killer? NO.
However they desensitize to process. For an already border-line nut case, they 'empower' them.
Just my thoughts - state your own opinions and observations.
