We are happy to announce that the Greater Portland Career Center has moved into a brand new state office building at 151 Jetport Boulevard in Portland!!!
On March 4, 2015 we will be hosting an Open House specifically for employers to see our new space and learn about the services we offer, to assist you in building a quality workforce. Representatives from a variety of Department of Labor bureaus, such as Unemployment Tax, Wage and Hour, and Safetyworks, will be available to answer your questions and address any concerns. The Open House will run from 9-11:30 and a Job Fair will immediately follow at noon.
Job fair exhibit space will fill up fast. Employers must be registered with the Maine Job Bank and have active job listings posted to be eligible to exhibit. Visit the Maine Job Bank at http://www.mainecareercenter.com to begin the account creation process.
