Both great movies! But.....Full Metal Jacket is the name of the game! I even own a copy.

I have to vote for Patton. While the first half of FMJ is legendary, that's about it. Once they leave bootcamp, the rest of the movie is throw away, irrelevant. Patton was great all the way through..

A fan of Full MEtal Jacket but only for the first 20 minutes when R. Lee Ermey is on. But Patton is truly awesome and legendary.
