I have PCs orders with TDY enroute option 4 and I did find in the reg that states I will need 2 DA31’s( from old duty station to WOCS, then WOBC to New duty station. Do I need a 3rd DA31 to cover the break in between wocs and wobc? I will have a little more then 3 weeks in between the schools.
School dates are as followed:
Wocs 10 May- 15 June
Wobc- 10 July - 3 Oct

Yes, if you're not TDY and you haven't signed into your unit, then it's charged leave

To avoid leave, you maybe able to remain at WOCS post in what we called a casual status. Just painting rocks, police calls, etc. while waiting to go to WOBC

That sounds terrible! My WOBC is in VA so there will be travel so I only can assume I would be on leave but since I am going PCS TDY enroute to both schools, I figured I wouldn’t be charged leave.

SFC (Join to see) you’ll have proceed time for travel based on the approved mode of transportation, which would be travel in between. If you do t want leave, then you’ll have to get approval to arrive early or stay after in a duty status at the appropriate unit. Happens at schools all the time. I was in “blackbird” status, staying beyond the course at the NWC because my wife was due right around graduation. I stayed 2-3 weeks until we could travel to Campbell. I would not be surprised if the cadre has worked this out for you somehow already.
