PCSing to Fort Gordon

2 hours from the beach and 2 hours from Atlanta :-)

was stationed at Gordon for a few weeks, everything really good or fun is about on hour aay, don't get me wrong Agusta GA is decent place There are some decent bars downtown but that's about it, nothing really mind blowing about the food scene in general, the post itself is pretty laid back as long as you do your job. Also, the higher ups are very particular sbout keeping stuff up to snuff. Keep in mind this was 1980 so obviously things may have changed but those are just my two cents on Gordon.
