What measures are you taking in reaction to the recent ISIL threats, and the FBI bulletin (FOUO)?
http://abcnews.go.com/International/isis-threat-home-fbi-warns-us-military-social/story?id=27270662

Things to consider:
1. Be informed: Read news, read the FBI Bulletin (if you look for it on official sites you can find it).
2. Remember what you learned on Deployment: head on a swivel, external focus, treat public places like you did in country: know ingress and egress, threats, weapons available, cover, reinforcement and medevac on call (how to call, who and what to say, response times)
3. Vary times and routes.
4. Keep a low profile, blend in to the environment on social media sites (with possible exception of RP?) and in real life. Look like the background.
5. Be ready to act. "Be Polite, be Professional and have a plan to kill everyone you meet." -Gen Mattis
“The price of freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness.” -Robert A. Heinlein

6. Write your representatives to be granted the lawful permission to be ready to defend yourself with lethal force, check out this discussion!

Add one more to that list: know where your weapon is at all times, the answer to that question should be "within arm's reach". This should be a thing for active duty, retired, veterans, etc.

Not a single friggin' one of us should be a victim to these assclowns. They're doing us veterans a favour by trying to bring the fight to us when we can't (legally) take it to them! Hell, we ought to thank them.

SSG Tim Everett Pad Away! (I'm pretty sure RP discussions algorithms include calculations weighting frequency and volume of comments and up-votes in presenting them to new potential viewers in the 'answers' feed) Ergo, if you like the message of the discussion, just commenting and up-voting improves the odds of additional users joining the discussion.
