HONOR MISSION, DONALD "DON" HEIN, SEPT. 2, HILLSVILLE, VA
The family of Donald "Don" Hein has graciously invited Don's Patriot Guard Riders brothers and sisters to attend and stand in honor of him as he is remembered and laid to final rest. We will do so.
Donald (Don) Lee Hein, 80, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his home. Mr. Hein was born in Minnesota, 27 May, 1934, to the late Henry William and Wanda Teller Hein. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Hein; son, Trent Hein; and brothers, Tommy Hein and John Hein.
Don served this great nation and our freedoms in the United States Army, was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders District 2, Christian Motorcyclists Assn., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 1115. Don was selfless in his standing for our veterans, a devout Christian, an honorable and devoted family man. He will be sorely missed!

There have been many RallyPoint members who have sought ways to recognize impactful individual service members and veterans who have passed either in combat or after their military career.
It is not practical to recognize every individual with a separate discussion, but we are happy to host those posts on this central thread.
You are invited to post responses here about individual service members and veterans that you wish to honor.
