Yesterday while driving back to military housing here @ DLI, I saw a car of a student (we have tags in our cars for staff and for students for parking), so while at a red light, I noticed a sticker with Obama's picture and not my president next to it. So my question is, since we took an oath to defend the consitution and obey the orders of the president, for a SM, is it proper to put a statement like that for everyone to see? I know we have freedom of speech and all of that, but wouldn't be more proper if you don't like the incumbent, just exercise your right to vote and vote them out, but in the meanwhile obey his or her orders

He is in direct violation and is wrong. Regardless of our opinions of our president the negative ones should most certainly not be put on public display ( as a sm)

I think that's not in good taste and not conduct proper for a member of the armed forces. That person is insulting the chain of command.

Would it be permitted to display that about any other person in our CoC?

You also don't get to vote for any other member of your chain of command, so it's a little different in this case. Not saying I agree one way or the other, but it's a very unique situation.

I don't obey unconstitutional orders from people who are not qualified to hold the position that they are in. The idiot in the white house was not born here in the US and his story of his life is as phony as a $3 bill. He is not a natural born citizen of this country, so he cannot be president of this country, which means that he also cannot be Commander in chief either.

If your opinions could be proven then he would be impeached. There are no facts to your statement or anybody else who claims the same non-factual thoughts that you are saying. He is the President and you claimed to live by the Oath of Enlistment, but saying what you are saying about the President says otherwise.

Yes you just violated Article 88 of the UCMJ. Again you should not of taken the oath to begin with. Army's 2nd general order- I will obey
my special orders and perform all of my duties in a military manner.
You have no proof that the President of the United States is not a natural citizen.

Any of you who would go along with unconstitutional and unlawful orders shouldn't have ever been allowed to join the US Military. Your oath is to follow the constitution and Bill of Rights, and the only orders you are allowed to follow are lawful orders that do not violate the Constitutional rights of other Americans unless there is due process and legislation is not due process. If you want somebody's rights you have to take them to court on actual charges of criminal actions perpetrated by the people you are bringing to court. There must be probable cause and search warrants to search and seize control or possession of someone else's property. You have to have both probable cause AND a search warrant, not just one or the other. You must have both..
