Possibly going to Camp Humphrey. Does anyone have input on how it is there? Good or Bad place?

I loved it at Camp Humphrey Korea!! You’re going to be with 2CAB or with 3/58 Aviation. Hopefully you’ll have a great experience. I went on a 1yr tour in 2012 and ended up staying there for 3yrs!! Remember, all assignments are what you make of it. Make sure you get out and explore Asia, it’s a beautiful country...

It is getting really nice. New shops and big PX. Other than not being in Seoul it's not too bad.

I'm sure it's a lot nicer now than it was in 1980 when I was there. I actually liked South Korea and did a lot of traveling around the country to get a taste of the culture. I found the townspeople very friendly and helpful. Now that it is more modern than when I was there I'm sure there is plenty to do. I used to go on trips through the post recreation center. I also had other assignments off post that took me to other areas and I visited Cheju Island when on leave which was considered the Hawaii of South Korea then.
