Prior active Air Force with a 1J separation code. I have a AFSC on the direct duty list. Is it possible to get a break in service waiver?

My break in service is 7 years 2 weeks. Direct duty requires 6 years or less break in service. Trying to get all the info I can before talking to the recruiter further so I know what to ask for. I don't have any other disqualifiers that I know of and have an outstanding service record.
