You may want to hit up an AD recruiter. In the past they had prior service quotas. You’ve got to hit them up at just the right time in order to jump back into to AD. Check on rank and MOS too.

Thanks for the info. I will contact an AD recruiter asap. I also was curious if I could contact as reserved recruiter or career counselor to extend my time with IRR if there isn't an AD slot I want to fill before my time expires, and I am completely out.

Yes, you can re-enlist and stay in the IRR. There may also be bonus for a re-enlistment of three to six years. Call the Army HRC contact number [login to see] and ask to speak to their IRR Team. Best of Luck!

SPC Mike Cado, Also make make sure that you have your updated DD-214 from IRR if they still issue a copy to you. You might have to request a personal copy

Any civilian education courses or degree attained you will need that so it will keep you at E-4.
