I'm trying to do a mos conversion from 3051 supply to 92y unit supply. I have 4 years and 1 month of prior service. I went to Meps to pick my job but they only offered me option 2 of prior service jobs since I have over 4 years of active service. (I only extended 1 month because my first army recruiter fucked up my paperwork) well all of the jobs that were available to me were infantry jobs. So I requested to do a mos conversion for supply. Has anyone ever done a mos conversion from Marines to Army? How long did it take? Or is it possible?

If anything you will want to go 92A. 92Y will block you at SGT unless you become the active duty unit supply Sgt. Find a unit that has vacancies and get most that they need. You will get promoted.

Even if you were a 92Y leaving the Army and returning, you wouldn't be guaranteed a 92Y job. You get offered what they need. You can always wait, assuming your scores are high enough for the job. USAREC is a fickle, fickle lady.

I'm prior service USMC going doing the blue to green program for the army. I was a 3051 supply and I'm trying to do 92y supply in the army. But since I went over 4 years (because I extended 1 month because of my recruiter told me to) I only have the option to choose jobs from option 3. When all I wanted was to keep my same mos

Thank you. Do you know how long it would take for then to get back to me? I EAS Nov 13th, so I'm trying to ship before then, that way I don't have a break time in service. Would they even be able to help with getting the option 3 for me?

Cpl (Join to see) - No - I can't know that - it would depend on the complaint.
