Hello I just recently got out of the National Guard (via ETS) so I’m now IRR. My question is does anyone know the process of going active duty Army and the timeframe?

I’ll be keeping my same job but I do believe that if you want to reclassify you may have to retake the ASVAB but you’ll have to confirm with recruiter

Yes I’m on the IRR you’ll have to get a conditional release from the IRR to try and go active

The process is find an active duty Army recruiter now.
The timeframe is based on what MOS options are open for your situation, your medical condition, the characterization of your discharge from the Guard.
Could be 3 months, could be 9 months.
If you don't like your available options now, talk to a recruiter again on 1 July, and again after the first week of October.

Okay thank you so much. I’ve talk to a recruiter already and start my paper work tomorrow. He told me about a month maybe 2. I was just making sure that was accurate l.
