I’m about to go to PsyOp Selection in the next couple of months. I have been forewarned that PSYOPs/ the Cadre have a large probability of making me a non-select due to age? Is PsyOps geared towards “age maturity” like that of SFAS? Would I have a high possibility of not getting selected due to the fact I am 19? Thanks for the support. Not looking for educated guesses. Primary sources are who I’m seeking out for these questions.

I don’t think age is necessarily an automatic non-select. It’s more about using your intelligence and being able to think on your feet and adjust fire with little to no official guidance. You use the skills you gained as 11bangbang but you have to have the ability to operate autonomously, research a range of subjects in depth and multitask like a mofo. Confidence and the ability to orate are also paramount to doing this job.

Run, Ruck, be able to write effectively. Be personable, and when in charge, be in charge, otherwise support your teammates.
Do this and you’ll be just fine.
