CH (COL) Randy Nabors (USA RET) says: The public outrage over the killing of unarmed black people by police, as well as videos of sometimes vicious police beatings of handcuffed individuals, has sometimes been met with a scolding comparison of black on black violence and murder.

The death from the hands of someone sworn to serve and protect is not something we expect to face, regardless if it is justified or not. And, there is a huge difference between the police killing (and/or violence) of citizens compared to black on black killing. Many news sources are immediately ready to sensationalize the events when a law enforcement officer is involved in these tragedies.
