When did they waive the rank requirements to be an instructor or instructor trainer.

I thought you have to be a Cpl and above and went through PME courses to be eligible for MCMAP Instructor's Course for green belt or higher. What part did they waived? I don't think I quite follow on that.

I went through the Brown Belt MCMAP Instructor's Course when I was a Sgt. in the Marine Corps. Never heard of Pvt and PFC's being instructors and if any instructor gets busted down usually loses their 0916 billet.

I am a MAI and the requirement is still that you have to be a NCO to be a MAI and a Sgt to be a MAIT. The only other requirement is to be able to get a 225 on a PFT and be PME complete when you attend the course.

Unless they proved that they have civilian certificates of brown belts or higher their lairs!
