Has anyone noticed recently that the quality of soldiers coming out of basic are worsening. New SM's are lacking discipline, physical fitness, military bearing, and over all common sense. That's what I've noticed. Anyone notice otherwise?

Why do I see more and more brand new Soldiers coming to the unit with an ungrateful attitude, talking shit to NCOs, disrespecting fellow Soldiers?

SSG (Join to see) I noticed that you can get worse Soldiers. However, it depends 100% on their attitude before and during basic and AIT of how they will come to the unit. I received some really great Soldiers recently. I have also had a few that with some guidance are improving and have potential. And we all have some that just decide to quit on not just the unit but themselves.
