We have lost good members of the RP community because of the actions of a few who cannot keep their Military Bearing. Should we have tools available to us to help keep the peace?

RallyPoint is a community with a great deal of camaraderie and overall respect, but sometimes there may be specific members that you just want to disengage from. Based on your input, we've created the ability to block specific members. When doing so, you will still see their posts, but it will break interaction between you two. When blocking somebody, neither side is able to:

- Tag you in a post
- Connect with or endorse you
- Respond to your questions
- Comment on your responses
- Vote on any of your questions, responses, or comments

To block somebody on desktop, you can hover over their name and then click on the block logo, or go to their profile and click on the 3 dots right above their contact totals. On mobile, you will see the block icon below their specialty in the top of their profile. When clicking on the icons, you see another screen with information on what is about to happen and asking you to confirm. Please see the link below for more details on this feature:

We're always working to make RallyPoint a better experience for you... and while most of you will never have a need to block somebody, I hope that for those who do, this will offer some relief.

Please let us know how it works for you!

I am sure that some folks may need the block feature when they feel they are being followed around. I hope I don't have to use it. I LOVE the Admin Alert option JP4 is the man, wish it existed!

We have the block option, SSG John Erny, and as some have already said, it's a good thing, usually because some members don't have the sense to leave other members alone. And those who are being picked on (harassed) now have a way to defend themselves without having to raise the issue to a member admin or the RallyPoint staff.

I say have some kind of report system to have the Admins deal with that issue
