I don't know about y'all, but my app takes forever to load, is nonresponsive, and will post either blank posts or cut off in the middle of me writing. At first I thought it was just me fat fingering the keyboard on my phone, but it's not. Anybody else experiencing these phenomenae? I'm operating a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active with the latest update from both Samsung and Android.

Hello. When you say "cut off in the middle of writing" do you mean it posts before you're done, or the app quits while you're typing? Any details you can provide will help us identify the problem. It's also useful to know if you're writing a message, asking a question, responding, or commenting (or all of the above).
At a larger level, we're aware of the speed issues, and are working to improve overall app performance, though it's not going to be a sudden turnaround. We have identified some key areas for improvement in how we move data around, and expect a new version of one of our tools will result in a significantly faster experience, though we won't know until we have it in place. But it looks promising.

It's all of the above. Also, when I want to go back and edit, it starts typing as if it's a new sentence.
The responsitivity is my main concern. I feel as if I have to almost break the glass on my phone just to get a link, be it notifications or an actual link to an outside source, before it responds.
And like just now.... I pressed the arrow to submit and nothing. Nada. Kaput.

i read there is a new update out of Android, but I haven't seen it on Google play yet as of today 12 Nov 15.

I have the same problems with my mobile app. Wouldn't even let me post from my phone this weekend.
Prob a good thing though considering some of the posts I seen pop up during this weekend...lol

When you say you couldn't post this weekend, do you mean you couldn't ask questions? Or post responses or comments? Or all of the above? (It's useful for us to know these details when resolving issues. It's possible, for instance, that just commenting could break.)

Cpl Andrew Tucker I have similar intermittent problems on an apple IOS also. I have no doubt the RP team is working on it. They've got a big list of planned improvements to hack through.

I use the app a lot on my IPad mini. I do notice that if I hit the screen the wrong way while scrolling, I go to the user's profile. If I hit the back button I am carried back to the beginning of the post and not where I left off. Gets frustrating when I am looking at a long discussion and have to scroll through everything again.
With that said I am enjoying the community a lot.

I have same issues on my iPhone. I'm ready to ditch the app. But the mobile web site on my phone isn't any better either. I hope their are improvements.

I have the same issues with my iPhone 6. Constantly tries to load and will rarely open my notifications.

Happens to me too . Check your phone's memory. Either it's that or the NSA knows exactly where you at precisely this second. Cheers!

The app definitely needs to be redesigned with new interface, it is so terrible I deleted it. I wish the scripting on the website would be fixed also so it wouldn't hang up on my personal computers and crash government computers. However, it is free and that is tough to complain about.
