Great development in the road to getting women into Ranger School. How do you think this program will go?

I have a Female Sergeant at RTA right now. I am excited as I know she will pass. She is going to the pilot course as well.
It is Awesome to be a part of history through a Soldier which you trained.
I was also the Instructor for this Soldier at AIT.

Thank You Sir, She has been training since July. Our Brigade has a former RI who runs a Pre-RANGER training program here.
When the ALARACT came out I spoke with all the females in my Platoon and explained the importance of trying to do this. I had five want to try and am down to two who remained in training.
One could not swim so I have to work with her and teach her. Another just could not hack it. One wanted to go on a deployment. The one at RTA was selected to attend the Pilot Course and the other shall go to the next female course.
I shall definitely keep everyone on Rally Point informed.

I'm looking forward to the first female Ranger graduate, LTC (Join to see). That will be historic. I'm glad to see this next step in the process.

CW5 (Join to see), definitely great progress.
First, they allow non-Infantry, combat arms MOSs to attend, then all of the branches, soon women, and maybe (here comes the snark) eventually Reservists will get to go!
