I am currently an 88 series but recently reclassed as a 68D and leave for training in Feb-July. I have a few questions and thought this would be a place to start.
1. Will o be on Sam Houston for the entire training or will I be placed somewhere else for the clinical portion?
2. I am dual with two children so would I be in the barracks or would I most likely have to find housing off post?
3. What are some tips or advice anyone has for the job?
TIA

Your Fort Sam portion will be TDY so you'll stay in the barracks. Your second portion you will PCS to. You may choose to bring your dependents but it's much better if you don't. Your spouse will not PCS with you to your phase 2 unless your new branch intends to keep you there. If your phase 2 is at Fort Sam you will PCS there instead of TDY there.

I actually came down on PCS orders for the school that’s the only reason I was asking but I really appreciate the help and information!

SPC (Join to see) Did you have to stay in the barracks? Or were you free to live on post housing with your family SPC?
